About eicr inspections →Request a quote →AC Kinetic has made well over 100 visits in W10 since 2018: fault finding, lighting, sockets, EICRs and cooker circuits, from Ladbroke Grove and Golborne Road to Kilburn Lane, Cambridge Gardens and Barlby Road. NICEIC approved, 24/7 for emergencies, with clear pricing at £90 + VAT per hour.
Emergencies: usually with you within 3 hours, 24/7. Book an “As soon as possible” slot online with a 3-hour arrival window, or call 07508 525912.
No call-out fee: labour starts when we arrive (one-hour minimum, then half-hour blocks). For online bookings the first hour is paid in advance and credited to your invoice. Any parking or congestion charges are disclosed in advance.
Ladbroke Grove is the W10 street we visit most, followed by Kilburn Lane, Cambridge Gardens, Fifth Avenue, Barlby Road and Golborne Road. Fault work makes up a large share: more than 70 call-outs for tripping circuits and lights or sockets not working, including emergencies such as an RCD tripping in a basement on Peach Road, no power on Third Avenue, a ring circuit chewed by a mouse on Ilbert Street and a tripping shower on St Ervans Road. See our fault finding service.
Lighting is our most common W10 job: downlights on Barlby Road and Bassett Road, pendants, dimmers, outdoor lights and Lightwave smart switches on Ladbroke Grove. We have carried out more than 30 EICRs in W10, with remedials on Kilburn Lane, Cambridge Gardens and a commercial property on Golborne Road, and around ten consumer unit replacements, including a 12-way board on Lothrop Street.
Kitchens bring regular work too: a 32A cooker supply on Portobello Road, a new supply for a cooker and hob on Ladbroke Grove, and extractor fans across the area. Businesses we have worked for include a gym and an office on Ladbroke Grove, where we carried out an EICR with PAT testing.
Verified feedback from W10 customers, published on Checkatrade. Google: 4.9 from 74 reviews, checked 17 October 2026. See our Google reviews.
“Proffered very good advice carried out the work immaculately, new plugs and lighting all lined up perfectly straight. Needed to create new holes in the ceiling and there was no mess left at all. Stress free and reasonably priced.”

If a circuit trips, tell us what was running at the time and which parts of the property lost power. A consumer unit can be operating correctly while disconnecting a faulty circuit; diagnosis helps avoid replacing the wrong component.
Before a board upgrade, we assess the existing circuits, supply arrangements and installation requirements. Replacing the enclosure and devices does not repair damaged wiring elsewhere. Any additional work identified should be explained and agreed as part of a clear scope.
£90 + VAT per hour, charged in half-hour blocks. Materials are agreed before we fit them.
Domestic EICR £200 + VAT for one board with up to eight circuits; extra circuits £25 + VAT each. Commercial EICR £300 + VAT. Remedial work is quoted separately.
