Who looks after your information
AC Kinetic Ltd (company number 08922083) is responsible for personal information collected through this website and when you contact us about electrical work. Our registered and correspondence address is 214 Shirland Road, London W9 3JF. This is not a shop front; electrical work takes place at customers’ properties.

Information we collect and why
When you enquire, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, phone number, email address, service requested, property address or postcode and description of the job. We use these to respond, follow up, prepare a quote and arrange or carry out work. Please only include information needed for your enquiry, and do not send payment-card details or sensitive personal information through the form.
For an individual requesting a quote or booking work, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, or performing that contract. For enquiries made on behalf of a landlord, company or other person, our legitimate interest is communicating with the relevant contact and managing the requested work. We also have a legitimate interest in protecting our website and dealing with complaints or disputes. Where records must be kept to meet accounting, tax or other legal duties, we rely on legal obligation.
The forms mark required contact fields. Without sufficient contact and job information we may be unable to respond or provide a quote. Sending an enquiry does not require consent to optional analytics.
Website analytics and cookies
Google Analytics loads only when you choose to allow analytics. We rely on your consent for this optional measurement. You can refuse or withdraw it using “Cookie settings” without affecting an enquiry. Withdrawal does not affect processing that already took place lawfully. Who receives information
Our website is hosted by Netlify. Enquiry forms are processed through Netlify Forms and sent to our enquiries mailbox, which uses Google Workspace. These service providers process information to deliver hosting, form handling and email services. Google also receives analytics information when you allow analytics. Our custom enquiry analytics events do not contain your name, phone number, email address, postcode or message.
We also use Windsor.ai to bring Google Analytics and Search Console reporting together for analysis. It receives the reporting data we authorise from those services. This connection does not require you to provide additional enquiry details, and we do not send enquiry-form names, contact details or messages through this reporting connection. Where necessary to fulfil your request, information may be shared with people carrying out or supporting the electrical work. Records may also be provided to professional advisers or authorities where required for accounting, legal obligations or handling a dispute. We limit sharing to what is needed for the purpose.
Service providers may process information outside the UK. Their applicable data-processing terms describe processing locations and transfer safeguards, including contractual protections where required. You can ask us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. See Netlify’s privacy information and Google’s privacy information. How long we keep information
Our usual enquiry and follow-up period is about two weeks. An enquiry that remains active or becomes a job may need to be kept longer. The two-week period is not a guarantee that every copy in email, form storage or provider backups is automatically deleted on day 14.
We determine how long to retain a record by whether it is still needed to respond to you, carry out agreed work, meet tax or accounting requirements, support certificates or warranties, or deal with a complaint or legal claim. Information that is no longer needed for these purposes should be removed. Contact us if you would like us to review or delete your enquiry. Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months, with reset on new user activity disabled. These settings take effect after 24 hours and do not limit most aggregated standard reports. Analytics browser-storage durations are described in our cookie information and are separate from these server-side settings.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, have it erased, restrict its use or receive a portable copy. You can object where we rely on legitimate interests. Some rights have exceptions, including where records must be retained by law. Contact enquiries@ac-kinetic.com to make a request; we may need enough information to verify your identity.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. You can also contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
